RX-78-2 Gundam
The RX-78-2 Gundam is a mighty robot that was first introduced in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam. It is a prototype weapon for the Earth Federation and was designed by Tem Ray. The Gundam was eventually piloted by Amuro Ray, the son of its designer, in the Earth Federation's war against the Principality of Zeon. The Gundam's design was the first of many variations in subsequent works, and it has become an iconic symbol of the Gundam franchise.
